For me a faceswap app is a big deal.
It’s about imagining your own face with different hairstyles.

To your 1st question.
I think you could also base it on the photo gallery. I offer ready-made photos and the user replaces the one they want with their own photo and the AI swap the face. Thats it.
The left photo is a original …its a selfie (but its not me ), and the photo right site is AI generatet with the desired hairstyle
The solutions are already available from other providers, but they are very expensive to integrate into your own website. Maybe elfsight is interested in something like that. Of course that would be great.
I would like to be able to use AI with the events widget… to be able to give an AI a target URL to extract all of the event information. Once gathered, tools to then personalise the content to have the voice of the hosting website.
A side-note: I think there are more improvements in general in the events app… grouping and sorting, archiving etc to help give a cleaner finish, to make it more organised.

I’m loving both ideas! Just a couple of questions on the AI feature for the Photo Gallery:
Should the AI swap feature be available for website visitors only, or would you like to generate images yourself in the configurator and add them to your gallery?
The images generated by your website visitors should appear in some kind of side popup, right?
And would you like to let users download their generated images?
Maybe I’m old school. I have yet to use any of the existing AI features, and rarely use AI out in the rest of the world. I wonder if going through the wishlist and spending time developing features that your current users have asked for would be a better use of developer time.
Absolutely love your idea for the AI feature in the Event Calendar - it would be a game-changer for pulling in events from various sources!
And about your side note, totally with you! There’s always room to improve, and we’re working hard to prioritize the most-requested features from the Wishlist and release them step-by-step.

Yeah, we totally get that AI isn’t the first choice for everyone, and it’s great to hear different points.
We’re definitely still focused on the Wishlist and adding the features our users ask for. AI is just one of the areas we’re exploring, but it won’t take away from our main goal of building what our community actually needs

Opening the generated image in a popup is a good idea, but that’s just the finishing touch
The different hairstyle pictures should be loaded onto the server from my own source. Otherwise there would be a very large amount of images that would have to be uploaded to elfsight.
