Guys, it would be awesome if you shared your feedback or examples in the comments — we’re excited to hear from you!
Happy to be the first to comment now that I have upgraded to the Pro plan. Before Pro plan, I think I was allowed 2–3 times to use it, and I was blown away by how it generated the images. This was, and still is, a pain point for me, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that was incorporated.
Though, now my image needs are more refined, so I will need to test it to see how well it does, or I will just stick to my current work flow. The one question I have now is regarding inclusion of “SythIDs” — though a Google specific term. Does the blog widget AI, which I understand to be ChatGPT, also insert its own version of “SythIDs?” And, if it does, has the widget been designed to remove these?
Great widget, it was a game-changer in how I approach web design, which now centers around it as the main feature.
Images get SynthID if they are generated through Google (Imagen, Gemini, etc). The AI post generator in our Blog widget is based on ChatGPT, which doesn’t assign SinthIDs to the generated images
As an update, after trying the AI Blog Generator again, I will need to stick with my existing workflow. The articles I create are super structured, and the images I generate are also very specific. One of the pain points with all AI/LLMs are they have “innate” “biases” based on their knowledge base. I get around this with very specific, descriptive prompting which the Blog Widget AI generator doesn’t really allow for easily.
I tried a detailed outline once, and it failed to generate a few images, and the text generated was not great. Furthermore, I usually have to refine the articles I create, and go through multiple iterations before finalizing. So I think there is quite a bit of room to improve the AI Blog Generator. Maybe more, and varied tutorial examples could help us make better use of it. Nonetheless, I’ll keep at it when I have time to see if I can bend it to my will .
I completely get where you’re coming from. AI is a truly amazing tool, but it’s not perfect yet. The issue you mentioned is actually pretty common with many LLMs.
The generated content depends heavily on the prompt, but, unfortunately, we don’t have full control over how the AI processes it or what it generates.
Hope that helps clarify things!
