this is nice, but it will be better to have a Messages Tab on the chatbot dashboard, because I haven’t got any messages or notifications, even this month got 4 messages. So that way we can get all transcripts and highlight messages in a sub tab when AI were not able to answer it so we can answer right there in there and send it that question and answer to be add to knowledge or training Q&A section without copy and paste
Hi there, @Norton ![]()
Many thanks for sharing your thoughts with us!
We already have a request to display messages in the dashboard. Feel free to upvote it here - Ability to view chat history in the configurator.
The chat history isn’t being delivered to your inbox because you’ve added 2 email addresses to the Owner Email field:
Currently, only 1 recipient is supported in the app. Thus, you should remove one of the emails to resolve the issue.
By the way, we have a separate request for the multiple email recipients. If you’d like to see this feature released, please upvote this idea too
- Ability to add more email recipients to the widget - #4 by Max
just yesterday added, second email
Thanks! I’d also like to let you know that chat history emails are only sent under the following conditions:
-
The chatbot is installed and used on your live website — test messages inside the widget editor do not trigger email notifications.
-
The Send Chat History to Email option is enabled and a valid email address is entered.
-
The email is sent automatically after 10 minutes of user inactivity.
If all conditions are met and 1 email is used, but the issue still persists, please take these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
-
Double-check that your email address is entered correctly.
-
Check your Spam folder. If any submissions are located there, mark them as “Not Spam.”
-
Make sure that notifications@forms.elfsightmail.com is not blacklisted.
-
Add another email address with a regular Gmail domain to the widget and check how it works.
If the transcripts go to a Gmail inbox but not your original address, the problem could be due to spam filters or restrictions of your email provider. I’d recommend reaching out to them for further assistance.
Please check it out and let me know if it helped ![]()
