The custom domain for sending the transcript works great Max!
One question:
In the footer of the emails containing transcripts that you receive, there is still a reference to Elfsight (see image). It would be great if this could be adjusted so that there is no longer any reference to Elfsight or the dashboard.
Thanks for adding the custom domain for sending transcripts. However, since the footer of the transcript emails references Elfsight or the dashboard, it doesn’t make much sense in this context. For now, I’ll continue using my Google Apps Script to clean and forward the emails.
I understand your decision and I am really sorry there is no way to disable the footer now. Hopefully the devs will be able to consider this idea as soon as possible.
Yes, I agree it seems as if the only thing this does is change the email address it is delivered to and does’t say sent from elfsight, my least favorite part is that it shows the elf.site url right at the top of the email along with the footer so to me it completely defeats the purpose. I would like to be able to send to client the transcript without sharing the platform.
The “Chat Page URL” in the email transcript shows the exact page where the chat took place.
If the chat is installed on the website using the standard method (without iframes), the URL of the page where the chat was installed will be shown.
If the chat happened via a Share Link, the Share Link URL for your widget will appear in the “Chat Page URL” field.
If the widget is installed in an iframe, the page URL won’t appear in the transcript. Instead, the iframe URL will be displayed, which is the expected behavior and cannot be changed.
Please let me know if this clears things up or if you have any questions left
