Try to make E- commerce multi country currency even crypto for the future

A currency converter widget for a Zyro store/website to enable buyers from different countries see product prices in their local currency. This ought to improve visibility and conversion for such stores
Is a currency script code that are a must, not just a widget to put on site that people manually need to click. is must be a script that automatic based on IP that change to local currency in browser. are we near any of this ?
I would find a currency converter widget really useful! For example, I have products in GBP but customers who might purchase in USD and it would be great to give them the chance to check the current conversion rate from within the page rather than leaving my site to go elsewhere.
It would be nice to have a widget for currency conversion where customers can switch currencies based on their location. Especially small e-commerce stores that don’t have this option
We already have a request for a Currency Converter app and I’ve moved your comment to the dedicated topic, where we’ll keep you informed about any progress
In the meantime, it would be great if you could share your vision of this app? What features must be supported? Which currencies do you want to include in the converter?. Do you have a preferred source for the exchange rates? Are there any specific design preferences?
Hey there @Lucas_Primc and welcome to the Community
We agree that the delivery of this takes us longer than expected, and we’re so sorry about that!
Much as I’d love to share the ETA, unfortunately, we don’t have any news on the Currency Converter app just yet. However, I’d like to assure you that we’re fully committed to developing new apps. Actually, we’ve rolled out three new widgets only this month:
The thing is that, we prioritize requests based on both their complexity and the number of votes they receive. Currently, there are higher-priority requests that our devs are actively working on. You can look through these requests here.
Rest assured, as soon as we have any news on the Currency Converter app, we’ll immediately update you here
I’m afraid we don’t have any news regarding the Currency Converter request, I’m very sorry
You, however, mentioned that you’d love to use it in the Calculator widget — could you please provide some more info on your use case and how this feature should work? Many thanks in advance!
Yes. Since it’s a simple conversation the calculator widget should work once formatted. Example: 1 USD = 35.24 10 USD x 35.42 TB = 352.42 TB.
Its a simple math equation. If we have the ability to change the number, the symbols… ability to add other text. then it’s a simple widget. Call it conversation widget. Hope this makes sense. I would use it for my travel websites to other countries.
