Issue with missing submissions

Hi @Max,

I ran into this issue today aswell. It’s been over five hours, and I still haven’t received a customer’s form submission via email. Everything was working fine previously. Could there be any server issues or other problems on Elfsight’s end that might be causing this?

Kind regards,

Michael

Hi there, @user9329 :waving_hand:

I am so sorry about this inconvenience!

Could you please send me a link to the page, where the affected Form widget is installed?

Hi Max,

The form in question is on K9 Pooper Troopers – Get Your Free Quote. The submission is visible on the downloadable .csv file (submission b182d14f-4b5c-4f1d-ac93-629f60585f32 from cathy).

Thanks!

I’ve forwarded this issue to the devs and will report back once I have any news :slightly_smiling_face:

Ok, thank you Max. It would be great if that submission could still be sent in via email, as the data from the .csv file is quite messy and does not contain the form questions but only the answers.

Hi Max,

Just letting you know that a second submission from a customer also failed to come through today as well.

Hi Max,

Just an update that an email form submission from a customer came through today. However, the earlier two that weren’t emailled still have not come through.

Hi @Michael_Surnak :waving_hand:

That’s great the submissions come through again, thanks for the update!

I’ve asked the devs if it’s possible to deliver 2 previous submissions to email and will update you once I have their response :slightly_smiling_face:

@Michael_Surnak I am really sorry, but, unfortunately, there is no way to deliver those 2 submissions to your email address now.

I totally get that it might not be really convenient, but the only option is to find the info from these submissions in the CSV file. Please accept my deepest apologies for all the inconvenience

Ok thank you for getting back to me Max. I’m glad only two submissions were affected. Do your devs happen to know what caused it? Is there anything I should do on my end to mitigate this?

There was a temporary glitch with the data provider connection. Our devs addressed this issue, and it shouldn’t occur anymore :slightly_smiling_face:

I am having this problem too. Fortunately as the form is brand new today, so far the responses are only from friends/family who were helping me check everything is working…but there are two responses in the CSV (and the submitters confirm they received the “thank you” success message) that have not been emailed to me. My form is at Test page

Welcome to the Community, @IngridNZ :waving_hand:

Could you please specify which 2 submissions weren’t delivered to your inbox? I’ll be happy to check it for you :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks Max. I haven’t received the ones from “Your husbane” (useful typo haha), Helen, or more recently, Jared. The others have come through to my email fine.

Thank you! I’ll check it with the devs and will update you once I have any news :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Max,
Some of my forms are quite critical. Is there a failsafe I could set up so that I’m notified whenever a submission occurs, in case the emails stop sending again?

Hi there, @Michael_Surnak :waving_hand:

The only workaround we can suggest is to receive notifications via Telegram bot. This article explains how you can achieve this - Forms: How to send notifications about new submissions to Telegram.

Feel free to give it a try
