I installed the all-in-one widget and input the wechat ID. When i click the wechat icon on the website chat bubble, i was directed to the wechat app (but a general interface of the app - not a direct chat window linked to the wechat ID i registered)
How to fix please? No direct chat window in client wechat now.

I have to say that our widget is basically an interface that connects your website to WeChat. So when you click Start Chat, you get redirected to the mobile or desktop WeChat messenger, and the chat takes place on WeChat side.
Please let me know if this explains things or if any further questions come up 
Thank you, but my problem is:
When the wechat window pops up on client’s side, there’s no chat started which associated with my registered account.
It just opens the wechat app on their devices, but didnt start any chats on wechat side.
Whether the clients already added us to their wechat contact before or not, no chats started / opening our previous conversation window
Please advise how to fix it.

Our devs started working on your request and found that you removed WeChat source from the widget.
Could you please create a copy of the widget with WeChat source so that our devs could find the reason for the issue?
I’ve reactivated the wechat function - please ask developers how we can solve it (as we are now spending views on this malfunctioned wechat), thank you!

There is no error message - I was simply directed to the last page of where i was at on the wechat app (could be another chat window i opened with someone i was talking to earlier, or the full contact page) - just any last page i was on

I opened your link for wechat link generation but seems that every click i made on that website links be to weird bugged webpages not related to wechat. (all kinds of unsafe pages from sex videos to some bingo casino pages)

I am terribly sorry for all the frustration, however, I’ve double-checked the webpage and the content you’ve mentioned above isn’t displayed on my side. So, this source should be safe.
You just need to add your WeChat ID here and generate link:
After that, you should try to open the link or QR code on devices where you have WeChat app:

Just want to double check - for whether it works, do you mean i should first put the wechat ID in the elfsight widget, and activate the wechat function.
And then try to generate the link in this website, and open the link using the device where we have the wechat, to see if this can activate the elfsight widget successfully?
