I had an issue with the contact form not receiving leads via email for over 2.5 weeks, and I just discovered this. Could you please let me know what caused the issue? I replaced the form with a new one, but the old one still doesn’t work, even after changing the email address and other settings. I need to know what went wrong so that I can avoid making any changes in the future.
The issue occurs because you’ve added the same emails as a receiver and cc. The thing is that many email providers have recently switched from SMTP to Email API, which blocks emails that use the same address for the receiver, cc, and bcc.
To clarify for future reference, are you recommending that we only use one email address per contact form? Specifically, should we ensure there is only one recipient and no addresses included in the CC field to avoid these blocks?
