I’d like to automatically reflect any changes made on the page in the widget knowledge base. when training assistant with URL
I agree with this 100%. We have a career site that is constantly being updated with new vacancies or with older positions being taken down. An automatic refresh of that URL would be really helpful.
Hi there, @Brenton_Cauchois ![]()
Thanks for upvoting the idea! We’ll keep that in mind and see for more votes from the Community ![]()
Just in case, I’d like to note that while automatic updates are not supported now, you can manually pull changes to the widget using the “Retrain” button:
Retrain doesn’t work. It gives an error.
Hi there, @user5224 ![]()
Sorry about the inconvenience!
There was an issue on our end, but it’s fixed now. This functionality should be back to normal ![]()
Hi Max! Thanks ![]()
It is very annoying to have to manually “retrain” the ai chat bot on existing web pages. Web pages get changed and updated. It would be really nice to be able to set a reasonable increment of time (maybe weekly) where the ai chat bot would relearn all the website pages or perhaps be able to detect whether the page had changed or been republished and then only relearn the ones that had changed.
Hey there and welcome to the Community, @Lisa_Stein ![]()
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
We already have a request for the automatic page retrain feature. I’ve moved your comment to the related thread, where we’ll keep you updated ![]()
Hi - not sure if the AI re-learns the site daily. We have a dynamic website with products changing availability daily. Is it possible to have the AI re-learn the site, URLS?
Hi there, @Cbc ![]()
We already have a request for the automatic refresh of the URLs, and I’ve merged your comment with the existing request. If this idea gains more support, it might be considered in the future.
In the meantime, you can manually pull changes to the widget using the “Retrain” button ![]()
The web pages should auto update at least 1 time a week if you change prices the AI give out tho old price
Hi there, @user1429 ![]()
Thanks a heap for the feedback!
Your idea totally makes sense and this request is already on the Wishlist. I’ve merged your comment with the existing thread, where we’ll keep you in the loop.

Hi guys,
Is there a way to keep training the bot when there are changes or new stuff in the site?
Scheduled automatic website retrain for example: gathering weather information from forecast website. Or if I made changes on my website for actual informations. Don’t want to manually retrain like 20 links. This should be core feature and its not hard, its pretty simple.
Hi @Guy_Barnea ![]()
The automatic knowledge base updates are not supported now (we’ll try to consider this idea in the future, but you can manually retrain the bot after page updates using the Retrain button

Hi @Max,
I appreciate your patience with all of us.
Yeah, our company can definitely use this feature. Until your developers implement a global solution, can you ask them if a temporary JS solution is available (or can it be developed)?
Cheers!
Hi there, @AeroConsultants ![]()
I am really sorry, but we don’t have a custom solution for this. If anything changes, we’ll inform you right here ![]()
Hi Max, thanks for the reply.
We build websites, and the issue is that our clients do not update us (thankfully) about every change they make on their site. There are also clients who update a blog post every week. If there were a mechanism that scans the website, even once a week, that would be great, or - a more revolutionary idea: to open an update user per specific widget.
Meaning, if we embedded a chat widget on Dr. X’s website, that doctor would have the option to update their bot with new updates from the site (and nothing beyond that).
Wishing everyone a pleasant and calm rest of the day.
