About Guy Barnea & Fly Guy
In December 2014, a young man came to me for home repair work. During our conversation, he showed me an offer for a basic website—$50 for a domain and a four-figure sum for the site itself. It was completely unreasonable.

This frustration led me to take action. I quit my job—much to my wife’s dismay—and set out on my own with a mission: to fight exploitation and help self-employed individuals and small businesses (SOHO) enter the digital world without financial burden. The goal was simple—start earning before losing.

With my background in journalism, I connected with a senior executive at Wix and developed an idea, a concept, and a website: Wix-Master.com. I offered high-quality Wix-based websites at fair prices, unlike companies selling low-quality sites for $150. I openly shared my thoughts, price list, and approach.

I worked from cafés, Wix’s Hub, and anywhere I could, learning and growing. I believed—and still believe—that website development in the $600–$1,500 range is more than enough for both me and my clients. By simply posting in Facebook groups, I gained my first three clients in the first month. The second month brought more, and by the third, I was making a living—all while maintaining fair pricing.

Since then, I have proven that things can be done differently.
