Yes, the description of your use case would be very helpful, too: your business area, what you need such a widget for, and other info you’d love us to know ![]()
Thank you for your help!

Thank you for your help!
I work in mobile car detailing and I would like each service to have its own link so that I can put each service on the website with its link so that it is easy for costumers to book the service
Hi, I would like zapier integrations and different event types. So for example, I could have a widget to schedule a consultation, and another one to schedule a meeting. It would need to conflict check to make sure I dont already have something on my calendar marked as busy for that time.
Hello friends! We decided it’s time we started considering the first steps towards Appointment Booking widget development! ![]()
We see a lot of interested users and plenty of interesting ideas here. It’s true that we have a coming soon page with the description of the Appointment Booking widget, but since we really want this widget to meet your needs, we’d love to specify a couple of things prior to moving further ![]()
What is the exact purpose you’re going to use Appointment Booking widget for (service bookings, event registrations, consultations, etc.)?
What are the must-have features you expect to see (calendar integration, time zone adjustments, automated reminders, etc.)?
What platforms do you need for integrations (Google Meet, Zoom, Outlook, etc.)?
If payment processing needs to be included, which payment gateways do you expect to see?
The more we know, the better we can create a widget that truly meets your expectations!
Thank you so much for your input!
Hi Helga,
To book a phone consultation.
Automatic reminders, time zone adjustments.
Zoho Desk
No payment.
Mike
Hello @Helga,
This will be service reservation for my part (rooms, breakfast and table reservation in a restaurant).
For payment methods I offer:
Payment by credit card.
And offline payment (check, bank transfer, etc.).
Essentials:
UTM variables inserted into admin notifications.
Options for client to cancel or reschedule front end.
Option to use without external calendar so admin can assign bookings to team.
Flexible reminders, an hour before meeting, and hour after to thank them.
Options to block hours or days and restrict booking days inadvance (7 days, 14 days etc)
Nice to have:
Purpose: Tour Booking.
Select date/time, number of adults and children (adults and children are priced differently).
Select any optional extras (at various prices)
Confirm and pay (total ticket and extras prices have been calculated) via usual payment gateways.
Ideal requirements
(1) ability to book and pay for multiple-person appointments of varying types/prices in one single process. Varying prices can be set on an individual service/age basis
(2) ability to add “optional extras” at variable prices
(3) customisable booking form (all the usual field options as per your other form widgets)
(4) Cart automatically calculates (1) and (2) above then pay via Paypal/Stripe/Square integration. Confirmation email/receipt sent to customer and admin
(5) Wishlist
Calendar integration with Google Calendar or similar.
Reminders, Cancellations emails, etc
Not sure if OK to mention another product here but for example purposes, take a look at Calendly. An excellent app, a great simple interface and good looking/functional widget integration but limited (even the premium version) by (1), (2) and (4) above.
This widget can fit many booking services.
I will add some points of view for my class of professionals: photographers.
As a photographer I have customers who find my photographic services online and want to book a session with me. There are many sessions that have fixed prices and conditions (newborn, pregnancy, portrait, etc).
The photographic service informs about:
Notes:
In some cases the studio might have capacity to execute more than one service at the same time, based on its team size.
Booking management system should allow some days until the execution of the service. We might need to prepare the studio or props.
Upon payment, a new event is registered on the connected calendar (google, or other options).
Customer will receive ‘Thank you e-mail’ containing details for the specific reservation.
It should be possible to confirm, reschedule or cancel the event.
(Calendly app has many interesting features. The paid version, which I used is a significant upgrade, however I only need them for a special season of the year - Christmas)
@RicardoMoura many thanks for these details, they’re super helpful!
Based on the use case you’ve described, here’s how I envision the ideal widget for you. Please check it and let me know if I’m right ![]()
Some information about your company, services, and prices;
A dropdown with all the available services
A calendar with the available dates and time slots for booking. There should be a minimum interval of a couple of days before the first available booking (e.g., services cannot be booked for tomorrow).
An option (and a note) to book multiple services head to head if possible. Once everything’s chosen, a person gets a new event confirmation via email with an option to cancel or reschedule.
Payment processing: users should be allowed to pay via PayPal or credit card.
Does it sound right, or have I missed something?
@Michael43 , @romano97002, @Gary_Brett , @Perry1 a huge thank you for your comments in this thread, too! Very much appreciated ![]()
Hello @Helga,
The manual/offline payment option (bank transfer/wire transfer, check and/or on-site payment) is missing.
In any case, the idea is good ![]()
Oh, great! Thank you, @romano97002 ![]()
We have a request for the Appointment Booking app that should be a better option for your use case. I’ve moved your idea to the dedicated thread where we’ll post all the updates. As for your suggestion, we see that it would be very useful and, hopefully, our devs will try to include this feature.
Thanks a bunch for sharing your thoughts with us, it’s highly appreciated ![]()
Looking forward to seeing this widget come out. I need a widget that can integrate with our admission’s office Google Calendar to show and book appointments. Our use case seems pretty simple because it will just be handling meetings with one person. I just need something a bit more responsive and clean than trying to embed a google calendar in our website.
Hi @Peter50 ![]()
Thank you so much for taking time to share your feedback with us!
It seems that our app should implement your use case. We’ll keep you informed about any progress here ![]()
Hi, these are the most important features in my opinion:
Add employees (with available times), that can be assigned to specific services
Add services with a duration, price, description,(availability), and tags (for sorting/categorizing)
Services can also be categorized into groups for better structure
Customer booking works as follows: a customer selects the service(es) he/she wants. He/she can also chose an employee if desired (for example in hair salon)
Then the customer choses a time and date. Only the available slots are presented.
Then the customer enters his information. Online payment should be possible, but not obligatory. There should also be the option of obligatory predeposits for large services.
If the customer desires, he can cancle the appointment via a link in the email/login or change the date.
Preferably syncing to google calendar, sms/email automation included
The owner can also manually add/rearrange/delete appointments (if a customer calls), which is also synced with the booking site.
Of course all the optics should be customizable.
This would be my dream appointment widget <3.
Hello @Antonio_Buchholz ![]()
Thanks a million for such a detailed description of your case, this is huge!
I agree that all the mentioned features are extremely important for the Appointment Booking app. Hope the devs will try to include them in the app.
We’ll keep you updated about any progress in this thread ![]()
Regarding updates, is there an ETA already?
And one more feature came to my mind: We are an agency that builds websites for hair salons. So being able to manage different “sub-accounts” with an agency pricing plan or something would be great.
Hi,
Agree with @Antonio_Buchholz.
If the development of the module is nearing completion and a beta version is available, I am ready to test it now and possibly give you feedback.
Thanks.
