Hi @Helga, hi @Max, hi everyone,

3rd essential feature to be developed once this is released:

THANKS.

Yes, I anticipate great interest in this feature too. We also think it’s a must-have, so maybe we’ll consider it in one of the future updates, at least a variation of it :raised_hands:t2:

Hi there @user14907

Glad to say that this idea is already on the Wishlist! I’ve merged your comment with the related topic, so that you wouldn’t miss any updates :slightly_smiling_face:

Many thanks for sharing your feedback and welcome to the Community!

A post was split to a new topic: Appointment Booking app button link

A client of mine has a consultation fee required to be paid at time of booking to deter no shows or ensure cancellations are handled appropriately. The ability to add a variable value payment option to bookings would be overly useful.

Yes, that would be a reasonable feature! Thanks a lot for joining us and for supporting this request, @KeyframeKreations

While this app is good for in person businesses it’s not good for those of us who work online. I really can’t use it until it has some sort of payment option to pre-pay before completing booking. I wonder how calendly integrates it. I would love to stop paying them and pass it on to you.

Thanks a ton for pointing us in this direction!

We cannot but agree that it would be just an awesome addition, especially for online businesses. Hopefully the devs will be able to include it in one of the future update and I’ll inform you here if anything changes :slightly_smiling_face:

is the Payment charging feature added to the Plugin?

I am sorry, but this feature isn’t available yet. Hopefully the devs will be able to include it into our roadmap in the future, and I’ll make sure to update you if anything changes :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks a bunch for the feedback and yes, welcome to the Community!

It would be wonderful to add custom fields for service based business to get more clients info and also to integrate payment card details after booking an appointment, such that it instructs the clients to “preceed to payment” and displays credit card collection or details. It dosent necessary have to re-direct using Payment API such as stripe or paypal. The goal is that right where the clients are booking an appointment, they are also making payment so it tallies at the backend, letting business owners know who booked an appointment and who paid instantly. Rather than receiving an email of a booked appointment and days later another email of payment made by the same or a different customer. The form should be able to parse the clients information such as name and amount of the service automatically to the paymetn collection without re-filling of the necessary information supplied in the booking form. I hope this helps. cheers!

Hi there, @Promise_Mbalewe

Many thanks for such a detailed comment!

We already have a request for the payment options, and I’ve merged your comment with the existing request.

As for the custom fields, this idea is on the Wishlist too - Add custom fields to the booking form. Feel free to upvote it and describe what custom fields would you like to be available there :slightly_smiling_face:

The calendar app would be inefficient without the payment functionality. Please add a way for the end user to book according to a pre-determined list of time slots, then pay, then finalize. Thank you.

Hi @user19068

Currently, it’s impossible to pay for appointments in the widget. However, this idea is on the Wishlist and I’ve moved your comment there too :slightly_smiling_face:

Critical functionality. Thank you.
