Appointment Booking

Same here, it would be great to have a beta version to test it. Any time!

Hey there @romano97002, @Antonio_Buchholz, @Antonio_Buchholz

As much as I’d love to share any news, unfortunately, it’s hard to give any ETA for this app at the moment. I am really sorry!

Once we receive any updates from our dev team, we’ll immediately let you know in this thread :slightly_smiling_face:

@Antonio_Buchholz As for the agency accounts, we are working on this feature, You can keep tabs on it in this topic - Agency Account

@romano97002 @Markus thanks a lot for your kind offer to help! I know that the Appointment Booking is being heavily discussed inside the design team these days, so this widget is surely in the works now

We don’t set any ETA just not to give you false hopes by chance, as things might get complicated along the way, given the complexity of this widget. But we’re happy that a start has been made! We’ll keep you posted on the progress here

Hi @user10272, great to see your interest in the Appointment Booking widget

What I can tell for sure is that we’re eager to release this widget as soon as possible, but this widget is very complex in terms of development. We wouldn’t want to give hopes which we might break due to different factors, so I’ll just say that we’re doing our best right now.

It’s the design stage now, and I’ll make sure to drop a line here once it’s all done and passed to the devs

Welcome to the Elfsight community, @user10592!

Not yet, but this is one of our top tasks at the moment, so I assure you that work on this widget is in full swing

Right now, we’re adding the finishing touches to the design stage, and once it’s approved, we’ll start the development process. I’ll let you know when the devs begin building the widget here

Hi @helga,

The design hasn’t been done? However, in the images that you show on the application page, we clearly see the images of the module.

What design are you talking about?

From the widget admin interface or from the widget itself?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hi @romano97002, thanks for the great question!

Yes, we do have a page for the Appointment Booking, but the design showcased there is not the final version. Right now, we’re working on each feature separately, making sure everything looks neat on every device and with different dimensions. And, of course, we’re building the whole look and feel of the widget so that it’s not only practical but also aligns with modern design standards

By the way, I think I can share some of our intermediate progress here soon

Hi @Helga and thank you for your response,

All right.

I can’t wait to find out what it is

Will the widget be released this year or not?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Oh, I’m pretty sure we’ll be launching it within this year! In fact, there’s a good chance we might roll it out even before year-end

All right! I’ll talk to the team and try to gather some materials to share with you here :star_struck:

Hi Steve - Google launched the appointment schedule feature. Have you tried creating a schedule there and then sharing a link to the schedule? That may work if you have access to the feature.

Hi @helga,

Ah I see the status has changed from Planned to In-Progress. When was it changed?

You are now working on the widget, correct?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Absolutely! You know, there’s been a buzz around the Appointment Booking among our designers these days, and it looks like they’re about to settle the overall concept.

I think I’ll share some sneak peek info a bit later, when we’re sure about the concept itself

I would like to request a customized version of the Event Calendar Widget that is capable of displaying a set of 3 or 6 months simultaneously. Additionally, I would like to see rented dates and available dates marked in different colors, allowing my customers to quickly identify which dates are still available for booking.

A good example of what I have in mind can be found on the Avail Calendar website (https://www.availcalendar.com/). This type of functionality would be immensely valuable for my website, as it would enable my customers to easily and efficiently identify available dates and plan their bookings accordingly.

Could you please explore the possibility of adding these features to the Event Calendar Widget? I am confident that this will not only enhance the user experience but also strengthen the functionality of my website.

My English is somewhat limited, and I’m still figuring out this forum, so I’m not sure where I’m supposed to add my feature request for the appointments booking widget.

Currently, we’re using Acuity because it gives us the ability to collect deposits or pre-payments directly using Square, ensuring we only deal with serious booking requests. However, it lacks organization. While it has categories, it lacks subcategories. Since we provide several services, it’s crucial for us to organize each service by category and subcategories with proper job descriptions.

If this widget can offer all these features, then we’re interested.

The widget design looks very good and familiar, like an upgraded version of Acuity.
