Let me know if anything require from my side. Thanks
Thank you!
I see that you filled out the form and then nothing happens for almost 2 minutes and finally the page reloads.
Do I understand right that once the form is filled, you see the loader, which isn’t displayed on the screencast?
If it is, could you please specify whether you clicked any buttons before the loader appeared? Or did it show up automatically once the phone number was added to the form?
Hello Max
We have not clicked any button and after 2 minutes page automatically reloaded. When we are removing the elfsight script it working fine. Please help us
Ah, now I see it, thanks for clarification!
I’ve shared this info with the devs and will update you once I have their response
Thank you Max for your update. Can you please make this faster as we have commitment to go live some of features tomorrow. Thank you so much for your support and help
We’ll try our best!
@Hiro_Jaisinghani Our devs have checked your screencast and found this error: This page was reloaded because a problem occurred
This error usually appears if the page is using too much memory/CPU, which can happen for various reasons. In this case, it’s likely due to some JavaScript code consuming too many resources.
Since the Countdown Timer script runs only once and doesn’t require much processing, the issue is with the website’s optimization, but not our widget.
Additionally, we compared resource usage with and without our widget, and, as you can see, the difference is not essential.
With our widget:
Without the widget:
It’s hard to pinpoint the exact script causing the issue, but it’s definitely not our widget.
Also, when we tried to replicate the issue, we saw a firework animation right after the reload, and it is likely that this animation is causing the issue. Here is a script related to this animation: SalesIQ Chat Window.
I hope this explains things.
Please check it out and let me know if it helped
Hello @Max We tried many times to remove the other scripts one by one and still have an issue. Once we are removing the elfsight script its resolved. So please help us. We can give you the POC for that as well. Thanks.
I’ve shared your comment with the dev team! They’ll double-check it, and I’ll get back to you with a response
@Hiro_Jaisinghani We’ve thoroughly reviewed the issue, and it appears to be quite random.
For example, yesterday our dev was able to catch it only once during an hour, and I noticed it right away. Today, however, the issue hasn’t occurred at all, and everything seems to be running smoothly.
So, the fact that the page didn’t reload after removing the widget code is most likely just a coincidence.
To ensure our app isn’t the cause of this issue, you can try opening it using the Share Link. The page reload shouldn’t occur in this case:
So. as devs mentioned earlier, the issue is related to page optimization. To improve performance, we recommend closing any unnecessary browser tabs or apps that might be using up resources.
We really hope this helps!
