Twitter Feed: Reduced cache, easier source setup, increased number of posts to display + 4 more improvements!

We are excited to announce a big release that significantly improved our Twitter Feed app :rocket:

  • Reduced cache
    Previously, the cache time was 120 hours, but now the widget gets updated every 48 hours :party_popper:

  • No Twitter (X) authorization required
    Now you just need to enter profile, hashtag or post link :wink:

  • Increased number of posts to displayed
    Previously, the widget fetched only 10 latest posts. Now it pulls about 20 posts after the initial connection and then all the new tweets with each feed update (every 48 hours).

  • Total Number of Posts to Show setting is fixed
    The widget could sometimes show the incorrect number of posts, but now it’s working fine :hammer_and_wrench:

  • Filters for Replies, Reposts, and Posts fixed
    Everything is working as expected now.

  • Header image is now displayed in the widget
    A great improvement many users wanted to see :sparkles:

  • Twitter →X
    All mentions of Twitter have been updated to X.

All the features mentioned are only available in widgets created after this release.
