Social widgets: Track user interactions with your widget via Google Analytics integration

We’re thrilled to share a new feature for our Social widgets (Social Feed, LinkedIn Feed, Tumblr Feed, TikTok Feed, VK Feed) — Google Analytics integration! :tada:

Now, you can monitor how visitors interact with your widget. This feature gives you a better understanding of users’ behavior t and help you optimize your content with valuable data insights.

How to find the GA integration?

You can find the Google Analytics integration on the Settings tab of your widget’s settings:

Ensure that either Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager is installed on your site. If both are set up, click statistics will be sent to both platforms.


What info can you track?

There are 5 types of clicks you can track:

  • Widget Viewed

  • Post Viewed

  • Post Popup opened

  • Social Platform Opened

  • Post Shared


Each click generates an event sent directly to your Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager account.

To add a new event, simply click the Add Event button and choose the event you’d like to track:


What info is included in the event?

All events include a custom name and the following parameters:

Widget Viewed

  • Source

  • App

  • Widget ID

Post Viewed

  • Source

  • App

  • Widget ID

  • Post ID

  • Post URL

  • View Context


Post Popup opened

  • Source

  • App

  • Widget ID

  • Post ID

  • Post URL


Social Platform Opened

  • Source

  • App

  • Widget ID

  • Post ID

  • Post URL

  • Entry Point


Post Shared

  • Source

  • App

  • Widget ID

  • Post ID

  • Post URL

  • Share Destination


These parameters will be displayed in your stats, providing valuable insights into which interactions resonate most with your audience.
