Hi there, @pandaman ![]()
I am sorry to say that rich snippets don’t work with homepages, that’s why you don’t see stars and rating in search results ![]()
It’s a decision by Google to not show the rich snippets on homepages and, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do with it
Please let me know if this clears things up or if you have any questions left ![]()
I have it in other webpages as well but I don’t think they’re showing up. Please have a look:
Got you, thanks for sharing these links!
Our devs will look into this and I’ll update you once I have their response ![]()
The markup doesn’t work because the widget is installed at the very bottom of the page and appears with the delay.
To resolve the issue, please try to remove the data-elfsight-app-lazy attribute from the widget’s installation code or move the 1st line of the widget’s installation code ( <script src="https://elfsightcdn.com/platform.js" async></script>) to your website’s <head>
Try it out and let me know if it helped ![]()
Hi Thank you for your help. I moved the code and it seems to be working now but for some reason the review count is stuck at 71 but we’re at 252 on google review
Hi @pandaman ![]()
This screenshot shows the markup from your website’s <head>, but it doesn’t show the widget markup:
I’ve tried to check if the widget’s markup works fine now, but it seems you’ve removed the widget from the page.
Could you please restore it? I’ll be happy to check it for you ![]()
Hi Max, can you please help me check it again? Sorry I must have accidentally taken it off
Hi @pandaman ![]()
I see that the issue still persist. Could you please try to data-elfsight-app-lazy attribute from the widget’s installation code and let me know if it worked?
i think it’s still a problem even after the lazy attribute removal Schema Markup Validator
Hi there, @pandaman ![]()
I’ve checked the page using the rich results test and see that the widget’s markup is working fine now:
Could you please check it once again?
Yes I can see that from my end. I did notice this. Does it matter that this one is only 71 and the other one is 254?
In your screenshot there is a markup that you’ve added to your website’s <head> and it’s not related to our Google Reviews widget:
The markup of the Google Reviews widget is working fine and shows the correct number of reviiews (254).
I hope this clarifies things.
If you have any further questions, I’ll be happy to help ![]()
I see that now. I’ll have to figure it out from my end. Thank you for your help!
No sweat ![]()
