Schema isn't found for reviews on my website

Hello! I tested my site at the schema validator and it did not detected my revies at my page… Could you please take a look at what is wrong? I have followed all the instructions above. My website is https://hotelcoquille.com - Schema Markup Validator

Hi there, @Marcos_Castro and welcome to the Community :waving_hand:

First off, I’d like to let you know that the Google ignores snippets for homepages, this is why it doesn’t appear in SERP.

Here are a couple of links where you can read more about it - Stack Overflow and Google Search Blog. We also mention this information in our article - Schema Markup: What is it and why do I need it for my Google Reviews widget. Since the issue is Google-related, there’s nothing we can do on our side to change the situation. I’m really sorry about that :slightly_smiling_face:

However, in the schema validators, the markup should appear even for homepages. The widget on your page appears with the delay, this is why the schema validator doesn’t find the markup on the page.

To fix it, please try to add the 1st line of your widget’s installation code through the Custom Code section and choose Place Code in Head:

Try it out and let me know if it helped :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Max. Thank you for the quick reply. I did as you said.

But it still does not apears at the schema validator.

I also created a second internal page for tests, hotelcoquille.com/avaliacoes - which has the same problem (not appearing at schema validator).

Is there anything else I can do? Thanks!

One extra question: Even if google will not show the star rating of a local bussinees publishing it owns reviews, does the tex of the reviews accounts as content for google? I mean, will google se the text as a dinamic content being updated (and will give value to it)?

Hi there, @Marcos_Castro :waving_hand:

Although the rich snippet isn’t displayed for the homepages, Google still sees the review text as the dynamic valuable content.

As for the markup issue, to investigate the issue, we’ll need temporary access to your website’s backend.

Could you please provide us with it? Here is an article explaining how you can do this - Providing access to your Wix website - Elfsight Help Center.

Please let me know once the access is shared and our devs will start working on your request :slightly_smiling_face:

Access provided. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you! I’ve passed it on to the devs and will update you once I have their response :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for waiting!

It seems there was an issue with the Wix integration. We’ve reinstalled the widget through the Custom Code section, and now the markup can be found by validators:

Please check it out and let me know if everything is fine :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi, Max. Not anymore… Or maybe I have to wait and try again later? Please see image.

Hmm, that’s really weird, since I don’t see the markup anymore

Please let me look into this with the devs again. I’ll report back once I have any news :slightly_smiling_face:

Now it is working (at https://search.google.com/test/rich-results ). But it still fails at https://validator.schema.org/ . Perhaps it is some instability ?
