I’d like to automatically remove Instagram posts where my account was marked/tagged, and shows only ones from my account.
Hi there, @Seweryn and welcome to the Community ![]()
As my colleague Pavel already informed you, you can do this using the existing filters (for example, exclude specific posts by links).
However, we agree that it would be great to implement a handier solution, and we’ll try to think about it in the future, especially if more users support this idea ![]()
Hi, as I mentioned in my email: adding manual include/exclude filters is not a safe solution. It also breaks the “set up and forget” functionality - I would need to create a new include url filter for every new post to be safe.
Without an automatic filtering feature (which does exist in your “Instagram Feed App”!), anyone can publish a harmful post about our company and simply tag our profile. That tagged post then appears automatically in the “Social Feed” section on our homepage…
This makes it extremely easy for trolls or people with bad intentions to:
- spread misinformation or hateful content under our name
- attack or provoke our community
- associate our organisation with content that goes against our values or may even be legally problematic
Thats why I think it should be like on high priority to-do list, not only because I pay for it ![]()
You’ve mentioned that the option you need is available in our Instagram Feed app. You’re referring to the Keyword/Hashtag filter, right?
If so, this filter is also available in the Social Feed app:
Does this option cover your needs?
no thats not a solution, probably I mixed it up with linkedin widget where you enter specific url to display post from that profile… i have to withdraw my words from my previous post ![]()
Got it, thanks!
I completely understand your concerns and understand that it would be great to automatically hide such posts if the Hide Mentions/Tags option is enabled. We’ll have this idea in mind and see for more votes from the Community ![]()
