Hi there! I’m using the events calendar and I love how I can adjust the embed code to display as a list, calendar, ect.
I would also like to use the the same widget to display only a small amount of upcoming events on my home page as well. I don’t want the entire list, just maybe 8 or so. Is there a way to adjust the embed code to limit the amount of events shown?

You’re using the dynamic layouts option to display the same widget with different layouts on different pages, right?
If this is the case, and you wish to display a different number of events for the specific layout only, unfortunately, it’s impossible to do. We already have a request for this feature and you can upvote it here - Choose diferrent settings for dynamic layouts feature
However, if I misunderstood you, please describe your use case in more detail
