Form builder inbox thread/grouping issue

I use for the form builder widget as a contact form on my website to get inquiries to my gmail BUT when I receive emails/submissions that are not too far apart in time, they get grouped together in one gmail thread.

This means that instead of replying, I have to compose a new conversation for each submission to avoid both replies ended up in the same conversation thread.

This makes it confusing. I want every submission to have its own separate conversation in gmail when it arrives. I have used other form tools before and this has never been an issue. Why are the emails being grouped?

I’m really sorry for this inconvenience, but I have a workaround for you to try :slight_smile:

We suggest adding the “email” Field-ID to the Subject of your submissions. That will make the subjects of your submissions different from each other and should help separate them into different threads.

Please add a tag [email] to your subject in Email → Notify Me → Subject:
