These ideas are great. We already have a request for the custom form fields and you can upvote it here - Custom form fields (Text field, Choice, Date, Time, etc).
As for the required field option, I’ve added this suggestion to the Wishlist on your behalf - Add Required field option for each field type

Any updates on adding a message field to the Collect Contacts form? Without it, we many times have to second-guess why the visitor submitted it.

I don’t think it helps to apply pressure here, given that there is already an entry on the wishlist.
Its status is neither “planned” nor “in development.”
There are currently 47 users waiting for this feature—and have been since the idea was posted on March 26. I think we should respect Elfsight’s priorities.
It is a feature request, not a bug.

Sina is absolutely right! The number of votes or comments helps us understand demand, but it doesn’t translate into immediate development or timelines.
At the moment, there are no new updates on this request. If anything changes (whether it moves into planning or development), it will be reflected directly in the Wishlist request thread, so you’ll always be able to see the latest status there.
For now, the best way to stay updated is simply to follow the Wishlist item — any progress will be visible there first.
