Please add the Embed layout for the chatbot
Yes, this would be great. I’d like the option for the chatbot to be open already and embedded into the page it’s on.
Hi there, @Kate4
Thanks for upvoting the idea! We’ll have it in mind and see for more votes from the community
Is there any way for my AI chatbot to show up on my page as the open dialog instead of having to click the button to open?
Hi there, @user21060 and welcome to the Community
Currently, unfortunately, it’s impossible to do this, but we already have a similar suggestion on the Wishlist.
I’ve moved your comment to the related discussion, where we’ll keep you in the loop
This would be a great function, so that it can be placed for example in contact page as an alternative to the classical contact form
Nice point, @franco_zagorschi ! Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us
Would like to see a chatbot that can be embedded into a landing page rather than a floating action button. We’d like to have our users go to this page for chat help but not have to take up real estate in the UI with the widget.
+1 please add this feature
Hey there, guys @itsupport_itsupport, @user23775
Thank you for the feedback!
We already have this idea on the Wishlist and I’ve added your comments there too
We really like this option for us to properly use the chatbot. It would resolve our issue where we hit the limit of views very quickly (few days) because the chatbot is displayed on each page load.
The way we use the bot may be slightly different to others. We upload a JSON file with details of our products and customers can ask questions/search what they are looking for.
If we could embed the chatbot on a single page (ChatGPT style) this would reduce the unecessary amount of views for the bot.
This would be a great addition for us.
Got it, thanks for sharing your thoughts with us! We’ll keep this idea in mind and see for more votes from the community
Just in case, I’d like to clarify that with the embed layout the widget will also be loaded on each page load and the amount of views will be reduced only if you install it to one page instead of all pages of your website.
However, the floating chatbot can be installed to specific pages as well
Hey Max,
Currently we have the script loading on each page on our Mangento platform in the HTML head. Hence why it’s loading on all pages. This make sense if you wish to have the floating chatbot.
We were thinking more like embedding the script onto a single CMS page (like the Blog widget) and then only when user browses that page and use the Chatbot will a view be used.
It will also work well for us because we can use the whole page real estate for the chat conversation. Similar to ChatGPT.
Hope that makes sense.
Got you, thanks
Would it be possible to get the ai chatbot as a static element rather than a floating widget? We’d like to put it on a virtual assistant landing page.
Hi there, @itsupport_itsupport
Thank you so much for the feedback!
Yep, this idea is already on the Wishlist, and I’ve merged your comment with it. If more users upvote this idea, we’ll try to think it over
