Add custom questions and fields to the data collection form

Hey Max,

Would this feature request and this one Form Submission be the same as capturing basic customer details like name, email address, and phone number prior to the start of chat session?

This is the usual best practice flow I’ve seen being used.

Form submission request implies the form with the standard set of fields (like Email, Name, Phone Number) that can’t be edited.

And in this request, we consider the opportunity to customize the form fields :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for the clarification. So does it mean that the Form Submission feature could/will be used as the “gate” prior to start the chat?

@Master_Web In the first iteration, the form won’t be a required condition for starting the chat. However, you’ll be able to control when it’s sent: with the Welcome Message or after a 1st response :slightly_smiling_face:
