Be able to force cache update on a per widget basis (72h between refreshes is a long time)

Be able to force cache update on a per widget basis (72h between refreshes is a long time).
I use to have 5/5 reviews on Google, yesterday a malicious non-customer posted a bad 1 star review, which made the average drop to 4,9/5. We appealed to google and the fake review has been removed. Now we wanted to refresh the widget content in order to get back to our 5/5 score result on Google review. Reaching out the support, they told be the info is cached and its validation time is 72h  .

Having the possibility for the customer to be able to force a cache update would be nice.

Thanks to you to consider this option.
Best regards

Hi there, @Ami_Dia and welcome to the Community :waving_hand:

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I totally get your point and we already have a request for the “reduced cache time” on the Wishlist. You can upvote this idea here -Update Displayed Reviews Every 24 hours (Reduce Cache)

While there is no way to reduce the cache globally now, we can manually adjust the cache time upon request! To make this possible, we’ve had to introduce an additional fee, as it came with some costs on our end.

If you’d like to adjust your cache time, please reach out to our Support Team — they’ll be happy to assist you :slightly_smiling_face:
