NAGS is a certain information provider i guess it is how all Automotive glass service is proced part proces and book hours etc… all insurance companies use it for billing so all repair shops use it and it is how our vendor price “AGRS” Auto Glass parts that we use for replacement. Many customers come to our website looking for a proce but each is specific to the vehicles information matched with the NAGS info then we use a rule lile X% discount from NAGS LIST PRICE and X$/hr labor (labor is also determined by NAGS and referred to as book labor) so im requesting a calculator “widget” that intergrates with NAGS and lets me set a rule like described above so customers can instantly get thier own prices by entering thier vehicle info i to our “calculator widget” this can already by down but is extremely costly and has to be “coded” in. So i think why some research into this wix can offer ot and appeal to that entire industry there are so many small single location auto glass shops that would use thos and wix just because of this so the platform would be more appealing to a wider range, more indistries. Compared to how it is very “e-commerce-centric” right now, this would apply to Automotive glass repair shops which would bring collision repair and with a few additional integrations, u can get the whole of automotive industry by making intergrated apps/widgets with “dealer rater reviews” “carfax” or any vehicle history service, “kelly blue book” or nada (any used car price/true value calculator), and then just adding languageband and additoonal option to everything so its not just course clases events, there should be service request appointments dtc something along those lines. Wix is so close to being in all in one service for more than just ecommerce sites. It would really open up the company to a ton of extra industries including automotive, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, building contractors, all mobile services. And customizable calculator widgets that run on rules can bebused by ALL SERVICE companies, landscaping, trash removal, movers, fences, rental companies, (rental companies should already use wix but even more so if they had the custumizable calculator/widgets im requesting) they can set they for day and price per day like hotels u probably have that but by adding automotive widhets like vehicle info collectors and calculators with intergratable softwares like NAGS or ALLDATA and optional imports with csv maybe for other people.
Im auto glass i just want nags calculator like when u go to safelite.com and click get price. But i think you could easily make a whole group of aps or add-ins w.e u call them and that would appeal to basically the entire service company industry not just me and auto glass.
