The floating google review badge cannot currently be closed. It would be a nice feature to allow the web user to close the widget if it is getting in the way of some website content.

It would be great if widgets would get a little cross in the corner, so people can close the widget if they want. Especially on mobile, if you use the Google Reviews slide widget as a floating module here.

Great news: your floating Google Reviews badge now can be closed! 
You can enable the close button on Layout tab → Customize → Show Close Button:
When closed, the widget will pop up again in 24 hours.
