Website Review #5: Optimization Tips for Marketing Agency Site

Pathfind Media’s website is a stunning showcase of creativity and strong branding. From the get-go, you can tell that this agency has a knack for making bold impressions and bringing ideas to life.

At the same time, a few tweaks could make the site even more effective. So, let’see what’s working well and where there’s room for improvement :backhand_index_pointing_down:

What’s working well?

There’s a lot to love about this site! Here are the key elements that really impressed us:

The “Marketing Mountain” concept is a memorable metaphor

We really liked the idea of climbing a mountain as a brand journey. It’s both creative and effective in setting Pathfind Media apart from its competitors :sparkles:

The three peaks (Design, Infrastructure, Promotions) are a great way to structure the services, and the mountain illustration with routes and services is such a unique visual element that it’s hard to miss:

Authentic Team Photo

The real team in branded T-shirts builds trust right away. It shows that Pathfind Media is made up of real people, not just an agency.

The photo feels both friendly and professional:

Industry specialization with real examples

The “We Specialize in Industries” section is spot on :bullseye:

By showing real work examples in specific fields like Health & Medical and Financial Services, Pathfind Media instantly connects with potential clients:

Strong social proof

The 250+ 5-star reviews on Google, Trustpilot, and Facebook are impressive and add a lot of credibility! Plus, the reviews with names and photos feel personal and authentic:

Experience since 2015 and 250+ clients

The numbers speak for themselves. With over 250 clients and 10 years of experience, Pathfind Media has built a solid reputation:

These clear, credible stats help reinforce the agency’s reliability and expertise :rocket:

What Could Be Improved?

There are a few things that could make the site even stronger. Here’s where improvements could be made:

Repetitive content layout

The page mostly follows the same layout: image on one side, text on the other. This repetition makes sections blend together:

[!note] Recommendation:
Introduce more variety in how content is presented. For example:

  • Keep Marketing Mountain as is
  • Present Services as cards or icons
  • Use tabs or accordion for Industries

This will help each section feel visually distinct and keep the visitor engaged :slightly_smiling_face:

Marketing Mountain section is too text-heavy

The four long text blocks in the Marketing Mountain section could overwhelm visitors. Most will likely skip the longer ones:

[!note] Recommendation:

  • Shorten each block to 2-3 sentences
  • Focus on the key message

The visual metaphor already works well, so the text can be more concise.

Grey CTA buttons look inactive

Some grey buttons, like “GET YOUR TRAIL GUIDE TODAY!” look disabled on a white background, especially compared to the bright orange buttons:

[!note] Recommendation:

  • Use orange for primary CTAs (e.g., “Request a Quote”)
  • Make secondary buttons black with white text

Avoid grey for clickable buttons, as it makes them look inactive.

Too much text on the hero section and no clear CTA

The hero section has too much text, making it harder for visitors to understand what to do next:

[!note] Recommendation:

  • Reduce the text to one short paragraph or key points
  • Add a prominent CTA button, like “Get a Quote”

This will help drive action right from the start :rocket:

How do Elfsight widgets perform?

We also reviewed how widgets are applied across the website. The setup is already well-established, and it’s nice to see how the tools function together smoothly:

Website Translator

The floating Website Translator at the bottom right corner is a simple yet effective tool, allowing visitors to easily switch between English and Afrikaans:

It blends seamlessly with the site, offering a smooth experience for multilingual audiences without interrupting the design.

Cookie Consent

The floating Cookie Consent bar is a great touch, informing visitors about cookie collection while maintaining a clean, user-friendly experience:

It’s a small yet essential feature that adds transparency and keeps the website in line with privacy regulations.

Reviews

The Google Reviews carousel on the homepage and the Facebook Reviews section on the Client Reviews page are fantastic additions!

They not only look great within the site’s design but also build trust by showcasing real customer feedback — an essential element for credibility and social proof :rocket:

Final thoughts

Pathfind Media has a lot going for it! A few small adjustments, like clearer CTAs and a fresher layout, could make it even more engaging and help drive more conversions.

@Pathfind, many thanks for sharing your website with the Community
