You’ve got a point, but we use different approaches — and who’s using what? Hard to say

We’d love to include all review sources, but our data provider doesn’t support them all, unfortunately, that’s why it’s quite hard to find a workaround here. But we keep searching!

Any update on this one - I have 100 reviews on Viator and I use three widgets to display reviews across my website. One thing would assist, as if Viator cannot be ported then I’m happy to manually add them. Could the widgets be ‘linked’ so that when I begin to manually add them they update each widget automatically. This would be a great help. So, one business with a control panel for reviews that automatically updates all widgets. Some won’t want this but control of what is visible could be within each widget. So I could go into an individual widget and, say, delete Tripadvisor form it.

I wish I had an update for you, but unfortunately, we don’t have any news just yet. The reason we can’t implement automatic review collection for Viator is that it isn’t supported by our review provider.

I completely understand how time-consuming it is to add 100 reviews manually, and I’m sorry that this is the only option at the moment

Regarding the simultaneous update of multiple widgets, I agree it would make things much easier. Unfortunately, this feature isn’t supported right now. The only workaround is to duplicate the widget, where you’ve already added your custom reviews:

I guess we have to use your competitor who can display reviews! Looks like you will lose business, because you can’t control your supplier!

I am truly sorry that we can’t offer a solution right now and I completely understand your decision.

We’re always working on improving our widgets, and we’ll keep tabs on the situation with the Viator source.

No worries Max. Mine is a particular problem, as I use three different elfsight review widgets. I hadn’t thought of copying the reviews into one, then duplicating and changing the layout. That will save me a good deal of time. No worries about Viator not being a live sync, once I’ve transfered the reviews it’s easy enough to manually add them, I only get a couple a week. Thank you for your help

Viator reviews are much more reliable than those on its parent company, Trip Advisor, because they can only be written by people who have actually paid for the experience.

Unfortunately, automatic import of the Viator reviews isn’t supported at the moment, but a request for this feature is on the Wishlist.
