Using Elfsight to build a tandem paragliding gift configurator (locations + add-ons)

Hi,

I’m building a tandem paragliding gift website and I’d like to use Elfsight widgets for the main user flow.
I don’t need a full booking system or real-time availability — this is more about UX and gift configuration.

My idea is the following:

  • User enters the name of the gift recipient

  • User selects a preferred flight location / takeoff site (e.g. Golte, Krvavec, Lijak, etc.)
→ this is only a preference, the recipient can change the location later

  • User selects optional add-ons (acro flight, photos, video recording, etc.)

  • The goal is to collect all this information in a clean way and then redirect the user to a separate payment page (Shopify / Stripe)

Important notes:

  • I do NOT need real-time booking, availability, user accounts or complex conditional logic

  • I’m mainly interested in:

    • Dropdowns / checkboxes for selection

    • Clean UX (tabs, accordions, galleries, maps)

    • Passing the selected values (recipient name, location, add-ons) via form submission or redirect

My questions:

  1. Which Elfsight widgets would you recommend for this setup (Form Builder, Tabs, Accordion, etc.)?

  2. Is it possible to pass selected form values to a redirect URL (for example to a checkout page)?

  3. Are there any limitations I should be aware of for this type of configurator-style flow?

Thanks in advance!

Happy to see you’ve decided to join our ranks! Welcome, @Luka_Felicijan :waving_hand:

Good question! Our Form Builder app would be a great fit for this use case. Here you can add different field types (from dropdowns to multiple choices) and even set conditional logic for their display:

To redirect your clients to the checkout page, you should choose the Redirect to URL option for the Post-Submit Action on the Settings tab of your widget’s settings and add the needed URL:

There are 6 different ways of receiving the submissions, and this article describes each way in detail - Where to find your Form Builder submissions - Elfsight Help Center.

The only limitation for your use case is passing the submitted form data to the form on the checkout page. Unfortunately, this feature isn’t supported now.

The good news is that we’re currently working on adding the Stripe integration, which enables users to pay directly from the widget. If you’d like to have this feature, please upvote this idea to get notified about the release -Stripe Integration.

If you have any questions left, I am always happy to help
