Uploading XLS or CSV files

At the moment the widget supports only text or document files. It’d be great if other formats could be uploaded as well.

Surprised that there are not more people requesting this. This would make it a much more enjoyable experience for those who have formulas set up and want to just seamlessly integrate them into this awesome widget

I’ve been thinking that XML might be a good format for chatbot training data, since it naturally supports structured fields such as:

  • Main question

  • Alternate forms of the question (as many as needed)

  • Response

This kind of structure might make it easier for the AI to understand variations of the same question and map them to the correct response.

And, if we notice a faulty chatbot reply, this format could make it easier to locate the relevant training entry and then add the phrasing as an alternate form of the question so the chatbot learns the equivalent.

A potential challenge is that users may not feel comfortable editing or validating XML files by hand. One possible solution would be for Elfsight to provide an interface that generates the XML behind the scenes, so non-technical users could still benefit from the structure without having to manage tags and syntax directly.
