Hi!
I’m currently using Elfsight across my Shopify site and truly appreciate having multiple tools under one ecosystem. I’m writing to submit a feature request that I hope you’ll consider for future development.
I manage a growing membership-based community with multiple tiers and membership types, each billed annually or monthly. At the moment, I’m handling memberships by selling each tier as a “product” in Shopify. While this works at a basic level, it has become increasingly difficult to manage renewals, upgrades, and member communication at scale.
I’ve explored other apps (such as Subi’s Subscriptions & Loyalty), but my strong preference is to keep all functionality within Elfsight if possible.
Ideal Functionality – Admin Perspective
I would love to see a membership/subscription management solution that includes:
-
An embedded Elfsight app that can be used directly within the Shopify admin
-
A centralized dashboard showing all members in one place
-
Membership expiration and renewal reporting
-
Automated renewal reminder emails, with the ability to upsell members to higher tiers when available
-
Integration with Shopify Messaging workflows for automation, unless emailing members is native with pre-written formats
-
Automatic assignment of memberships to existing Shopify customer accounts (to avoid duplicate records and keep a single customer profile)
Ideal Functionality – Member Perspective
From the member’s side, the experience should feel native to Shopify:
-
Members log in through Shopify’s existing account system
-
They can view:
-
Current membership tier
-
Renewal date
-
Auto-renew status
-
-
Members can:
-
Enable/disable auto-renew
-
Upgrade or downgrade membership tiers
-
Pause, skip, or cancel their membership
-
-
Ability to purchase memberships with either monthly or annual payment options
I believe this type of functionality would be incredibly valuable for creators, community-driven businesses, nonprofits, and membership-based organizations using Shopify—and it would make Elfsight an even more powerful “all-in-one” solution.
Thank you for considering this request. I’d be happy to provide additional context or participate in feedback if this is something your team is exploring.
Thanks so much!
