Hi Helga,

I understand that you receive quite a lot of feature requests but can you please re-consider this specific feature again? It would be a really good addition and also act as a form of authorization for clients.

We see that many users supported this idea as well, so weā€™ll try our best to take it under consideration in one of our future enhancements. Once any news come up, Iā€™ll immediately share them in this thread :slightly_smiling_face:

I completely understand your point and really sorry that the signature caption hasnā€™t been released yet.

Sure, our devs can definitely develop the signature capture feature. Right now, though, weā€™re focusing on higher priority requests. For instance, just yesterday, we released the highly anticipated feature for inviting team members to your account - Add team members to your account

Is there a way to create an E-Sign for an embedded form? I want to set up e-signing for contracts and agreements. if it Is possible?

Unfortunately, signature option isnā€™t supported in our Form apps. However, we already have such a request in the Wishlist, and Iā€™ve added your comment there too.

Weā€™ll keep you posted here in case of any changes :slightly_smiling_face:

It seems to be because signature capture is one of the most basic feature a software company like elfsight must have. Iā€™m not sure why a feature in such high demand is still being considered for 3 years that is so important for identification purposes. :sleepy:

Iā€™ve talked to our devs, and they assure us that they do have the Signature option in mind, and it is already included in their roadmap. The main hiccup is that currently they have quite a lot of urgent updates and tasks to implement, thatā€™s why we cannot guarantee a quick release for the Signature capture.

Iā€™m keeping an eye on this request, so Iā€™ll make sure to let you know once I have any update from the devs :pray:t2:

While I appreciate that your devs have included the Signature option in the roadmap and are dealing with many urgent updates, I must express my deep frustration regarding the prolonged delay in implementing this feature.

Considering the fundamental importance of Signature capture for identification purposes, itā€™s perplexing that such a basic and highly demanded feature has been under consideration for three years without resolution. This delay raises serious concerns about the prioritization of customer needs.

As a customer, itā€™s disappointing and unacceptable to see such a critical functionality not prioritized. If this issue is not addressed soon, we may have to reconsider our continued use of your services.

I hope the development team can expedite this process and finally address this long-standing request. Please continue to keep us updated on any progress.
