I have quite a few times received wonderful support when I wanted to do further customisation to the appearance of an app, e.g. review slider, button, chat button, pop-up, etcetera. Support is astonishingly good and makes Elfsight really stand out. They always go the extra mile to get you the code to do just a little more than the standard settings of the app allow.
In all these cases, I was perfectly fine to add the properties I wanted and experiment with them on my own, but I always had to bother support to ask for the correct selector. Searching for the correct selector with the ‘inspect’ tool proved just one step too far even though I’m confident in adding the styling codes once I have the selector as the starting point.
My idea is that on all apps with a separate panel for adding custom CSS, it would be helpful if the selector for that specific app would be pre-displayed in the CSS panel. Maybe with an example of how the code would look to change a property. It would 9 out of 10 times save the step of asking Support for help.
Especially because Support is always so good, I feel almost embarrassed to ask for their help time and again if it is just about a ‘nice’ tweak I have in mind, and it is not something essential.
