CSS Codes category: have you actually used it?

Friends, we want to make our CSS Codes category as useful as possible, and would love your take :raising_hands:t2:

Have you ever used a CSS code from the CSS Codes category?

  • Yes, worked perfectly
  • Yes, but had issues
  • No, couldn’t find what I needed
  • No, felt too technical

If you’ve tried it, what did you manage to customize?
If not, what were you hoping to find?

Even small tweaks or ideas are super helpful! :rocket:

Would really love to know about your experience with the category - so even “yes” or “no” will help

I use the CSS Codes category plenty of times and visit time to time to check what’s new. before I request a solution I check if its on their first.

Great to hear that, @Adore! By the way, feel free to share your solutions there if you come up with something helpful

I’ve used it several times and it either worked perfectly or provided the inspiration to successfully customize something else. I probably fit the description of ‘advanced user’ but many of the library codes are copy/paste easy.

  • Changed the font in the Accessibility widget AWA resizing the main button and repositioning it for mobile devices.
  • Scaled down the height of the Announcement Bar for single-line announcements.
  • Changed the Close button color and centered/scaled the smilies in the Form Builder popup so they were L/R justified with the outer edges of the form fields.
  • Added additional transparency and changed the tint of the carousel buttons in the Photo Gallery.

Awesome, thanks a lot for sharing, Bob! CSS codes are really great when it comes to small tweaks, and we’re happy the category works well even for advanced users

I’ve used it! Very helpful! I check the codes before submitting a support ticket. I think it would be more helpful if the CSS codes were more readily available in each app for new users to discover them.

That’s great to hear, @Daniel! Do you have a specific idea of where you’d love to see the codes?

Right now, you can access them from the Settings section → Custom CSS

That looks perfect, thank you!
