Set exceptions to the repetition

I am not sure why this is a huge deal to fix. I am not a techy, but this has been on the roadmap for years it seems.

Hi there, @Jessica7 and welcome to the Community :waving_hand:

The biggest challenge is that this feature is technically complex to build. Although the request received considerable interest, the development challenges turned out to be more demanding than expected, which has slowed our progress.

You’re absolutely right — the request was first submitted back in 2022. Since then, we’ve been gathering feedback from the Community and working to overcome the obstacles that were holding us back. However, we added it to our roadmap just two weeks ago (that’s when the status changed to Planned).

We’re really excited about this feature too and hope to start working on the design soon. As soon as we have any updates, we’ll share them right here :slightly_smiling_face:

I tested it, it looked like it worked, but my events are now gone from the edit space. I no longer have access to edit it.
