Now when you look for other company’s in the search area you also find company’s that I did not upload. And customer will find stores that do not sell our collection.
Please add the option to restrict the search to display only the uploaded stores.

Hi there, @user15661
Sounds reasonable, thanks for sharing! If more users get interested in this feature, it might be considered
@Max Please consider to add this as an option to select from.
Hi there, @Boxon
A huge thank you for the feedback!
We’ll see for more votes from the community and if this idea becomes popular, it might be considered in the future
I have noticed that the search bar also offers other addresses, sometimes from abroad, with the same name for search terms that may only have one name.
Is it possible to limit the search to the entries that are on the map?
Best wishes, Alexander
Thank you for your comment, @Alexander_Ratkovic!
I see that we have a similar request on our wishlist, so I’ve moved your idea there. Let’s see what other users think about it
The location widget is really a great feature - user-friendly and great to use. However, I would like the search in the widget to be limited exclusively to the locations that we have stored in the system.
Currently, other addresses are also displayed, which leads to a lot of confusion. This behavior makes the widget less suitable for companies like ours that want to specifically highlight their own locations.
We are a wholesaler of natural stone with almost 30,000 customers across Europe and have currently selected 200 dealers as “best dealers” that we would like to highlight specifically. Unfortunately, these dealers complain that it is not possible to search for them specifically in the widget, as other irrelevant addresses are also displayed.
Limiting the search to the STORE LOCATOR would therefore be a valuable addition in order to use the widget specifically for the B2B sector.
Thank you for considering this suggestion!
Greetings and welcome aboard, @Orhan_Cakir
Glad to say that we already have this idea on the Wishlist! I’ve moved your comment to the discussion, where we’ll keep you updated
I don’t know how other users use the widget, but my first thought was to show our partners in the region. Users expect that only authorized partners are visible. Perhaps I don’t fully understand the widget philosophy. Google Maps would be an alternative, but would also involve additional costs. I find Star Locator very convenient to use - which is exactly why I opted for it.
Most users set up the widget in a similar way: they add their stores to the widget, helping their customers find the nearest locations.
When you click on an added store, a popup will show detailed information about that location. If you click on a location that hasn’t been added, it will appear as just a point on the map without any additional info. So, this is the main difference between the added and not added locations.
However, I completely understand your point, and I agree that showing other locations could cause confusion in some cases. We’ll try to consider this idea in the future, especially if more users upvote it
Looking to have an option where the search bar only shows the locations inputted. This will be very helpful so that people don’t have to scroll through a long list.
Thank you for sharing, @AlvinDomingo!
I understand your point, and I agree it would be convenient to have a list of the relevant locations only. I’ve consulted the developers, and for now, we don’t see an option to exclude other businesses since this is exactly how Google search works.
However, we’ll be happy to update you here if there’s any news
