Would be great to be able to refresh the list without needing to refresh the browser.

Could you please specify when the search refresh should be triggered?

Maybe have an 
icon on the search bar to allow for refreshing whenever the user wants to.
Also, would be nice that when you view a location pop-up and go to close it that when you close out you’re still in the same spot on list as you were before opening.
