Looking for a way to limit the number of participants allowed for each event; or disabling the ability to join event when number of participants has reached its capacity.

Administrator settings include to add a maximum number of places per event.
A user interface allows users to add their photo so that when display the event details the user can see the maximum number of places + the list of users who participate (photos or names) + informations.

There is no granular event registration functionality. The event module loses value if the registration button has to be outsourced. It would be more practical to connect an Elfsight contact form for sign-ups so everything remains within a single ecosystem.
Information about the number of remaining spots for the event is missing. This would be a useful feature to avoid follow-up questions about availability.

I totally agree that it would be awesome to have an option to register right in the widget and display the number of remaining spots.
