I want our customers to purchase tickets directly in the widget
Folks, our former Wishlist portal, where our users shared their requests and suggestions, was transferred to this forum. You’re most welcome to vote, add new ideas, and leave your comments here — we surely will consider them all!

Perhaps this would be a Calendar integration, but more of a ticket purchasing widget with similar event style. If it could have an emailing the ticket and link option as well as payment through PayPal or something similar, including having coupon codes which can make it free.
Hi there, @Rev_Devan
Thanks for sharing your feedback!
A similar idea for Event Calendar app is already on the Wishlist, and I’ve merged your comment with this thread
Could you just specify what you mean under this?
I mean kinda like in the contact and form widgets where we can make it send custom emails to us and them.
As admin I can (via an elfsight hosted widget):
- set header text
- set event description text
- set a total number of tickets available (ie. to an event)
- set a number of tickets available per checkout event
- connect my stripe account
- receive payment via stripe at the per ticket price I set
- bonus: set arbitrary discounts (ie. buy 3 and each ticket is X% off)
- receive notifications (produced by Stripe) of purchases
As a visitor I can:
- read a header and event description text displayed to the front end
- see ‘current total tickets available’
- increment and decrement my # of tickets to purchase (limited by admin, as above)
- input standard form data (name, email, phone, comment)
- check out via stripe
- receive a confirmation email of all the form data (a receipt produced by Stripe)
- watch the ‘current total tickets available’ decrement by the number of tickets I purchased
Hi there, @Nathan_Maggard
A huge thank you for such a thorough comment!
We already have a similar request for the Event Calendar app. I’ve moved your comment to the related thread, where we’ll keep you updated
I need it to link to my paylink but I also need to be able to shut it down when slots are full but right now I have to do that manually. Yesterday I was unable to access my widgets at all it just kept spinning so hopefully today I’ll be able to get into it but when changes occur and classes are sold out I need to be able to reflect that in both my website and the external booking link which is your widget
Got it, thanks!
We’ll try to consider the payment option too, and we’ll keep you posted here
Disregard. This is not what I’m asking for
Dear @Merrilee_Finney,
Please let me break it into details. You’d like to let users book events and your use case includes the following functionalities:
-
Allow booking right in the widget
-
Limit the number of slots for booking and show the number of available slots in the widget. Once there are no slots available, the booking option should be disabled and a special banner (no slots available) should appear.
-
Payment option
Is everything correct?
At the moment, it’s impossible to implement this idea, but we already have Wishlist requests including the functionalities you need.
- Register right in the widget - this request includes functionalities 1,2
- Allow to purchase tickets - here users request adding the payment option to the widget.
If everything is right, just upvote these Wishlist requests to not miss any updates
No, that’s not correct. I asked for one option, but it cool. I’m going just keep doing it manually
