Product links don't work in AI Chatbot

Hello, I have a file of over 20,00 SKUs. What is a better should I upload the file or use the webpage URLS?

Also I notice that when I click on the product link in the widget , it jumps into a quick 404 then reloads to the homepage when it should go to the product page. I’ve checked on my website and the product is there and accurate, not sure why the AI widget links to the product but when click it doesnt go to the product. Please Help

Could you please do some kind of tutorial on Shopify products? We have many products and would like this to work perfectly as of now it doesn’t seem to know what the products URL’s are.

My website of over 20,000 SKUs has full product data information on them and I would like to know what is the most effective way for the AI Chatbot to fully understand. Please guide us on how the chatbot can pull the product link, and everything else. My product information is top tier so I believe the info would help the customer chat but I need to figure out how to ensure the AI chatbot can be the best.

Both are options (file and URL) are good for adding SKUs with product data to the chatbot knowledge base. However, there is a known issue with the link generation in the current language model (gpt-4 mini).

We’ve switched your widgets to gpt-5 mini language model, which should handle this task better. Please test your widget and let me know if the issue with the broken links has been resolved :slightly_smiling_face:
