Podcast player stopped working

I have an ASP.Net website (build using DNN - an opensource CMS). Today the Podcast player on the home page stopped working. The problem is that nothing has been changed.

When I go to the Podcase page on the Elfsight website, I see the logo for the season but there is no playlist. Here is a link to the RSS feed:

Everthing looks OK but nothing is working.

I am so sorry about this inconvenience!

The thing is that the widget can’t access the added source because the server it’s hosted on isn’t responding. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do with it.

However, I’ve replaced your links with the links using a 3rd-part proxy and the widgets are working fine now. Could you please check it and let me know if it’s fine on your end?

Works perfectly now.

Could you please give me a little more information so I can avoid this in the future for other instances of the player, specifically:

  • What server was failing to respond? If it is something that I look after, I had better fix it.
  • Can you give me a little more information about the 3rd party proxy. If I set up another player, I may need to do something similarly.
