**It would be really helpful to have a sorting option for events. We have 60+ events, so when they lapse and I need to delete them, I have to scroll, find them and delete them. A lot of our events have the same starting name (which is needed because we don’t have fully customizable dates yet), so I may have 10 events that are the same title, and I need to click to see when the date was. So either a little bubble with the starting date or maybe a change in color for the event that is past would be really helpful. There really isn’t any organizational tools available for the events in the suite. **

We need an edit button in the viewer pane for event calendar
Without a way to directly edit an event from the result viewer it’s nearly impossible to find an event in the event list - or you add a way to filter the event list (by date, alphabetically or by type for instance)

this is what I ment - so clicking on the edit button in any of the event previz will open the right event in edit

Is it possible to export the list of event once integrated in the widget ie a JSON file or a tabulated CSV?

@The_Algar I am afraid, it’s impossible to export the events from the widget and access the widget via API as well. I am so sorry!
We already have a request for API support in the Wishlist. You can keep an eye on it here - API support - #6 by Helga.
Also, we’ve created a new request for the event export, where we’ll keep you in the loop - Export events to a JSON or CSV file

I really love this idea, @Tender_S! I know that we added this option to some of our other widgets, so let’s hope the Event Calendar widget will inherit it in one of the future updates, too

I want to be able to sort the list of events to be edited by the following:
- event date
- alphabetically
- hidden first
- host
and whatever else anyone needs to sort by
I have to hide events that are scheduled up to a year in advance, and though they do show an icon for being hidden, from public view, they appear way down the list and have to be scrolled to see them.

Hi Helga, I’m new to using the event calendar, and I haven’t read through all the comments. I have a lot of events with the same names, and it’s really difficult for me to find the right one. The search functionality is not really helpful in this case. Would it be possible to sort the events in the order of the event date, or even better, it would be amazing if I could edit it in the preview to the right.
