**Issue description: **
Hello,I’m using the Elfsight ChatBot with AI integration for a hotel website in a tourist destination. Guests come from all over the world, so conversations naturally happen in multiple languages.
The chatbot’s answers are already translated automatically based on the user’s input language — which works perfectly. However, I’ve noticed that the predefined system messages (such as User Detail Request Message, Success Message, and Follow-Up Message) remain static in the language I originally set in the widget (Italian).
I tried adding an instruction like this:
“All communication, including standard messages (such as the User Detail Request, Success Message, and Follow-Up Message) and all generated content, MUST be delivered in the same language used by the user in their current input.”Unfortunately, these messages are still displayed only in Italian.
Is there a way to:
-
Make these predefined messages dynamically switch language depending on the user’s input language?
-
Or alternatively, define different versions of these messages for multiple languages?
This feature would be extremely useful for multilingual contexts like hotels, where guests interact in many different languages.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or workarounds!

Hi there, @Donato_Poggi1 ![]()
Unfortunately, the multilanguage versions are not supported in our widgets now. We already have such a request for the AI Chatbot on the Wishlist, and you can upvote it here - Let users switch the chatbot language.
If this idea gets more votes, it might be considered in the future ![]()
Thank you @Max
I’ve voted for this request, but I would actually prefer a different approach: instead of adding a manual language switch, it would be even better if predefined messages (User Detail Request, Success, Follow-Up, etc.) could use placeholders.
That way, the chatbot would automatically translate these messages in the same way it already does for answers, adapting them dynamically to the language of the user’s input.
I think this would provide a smoother experience for international guests without requiring them to manually select a language.
what you think about ?
Got your point, thanks!
I’ve changed the title of the Wishlist request to more general “Multilanguage versions of the widget elements”. If this idea gets more votes, we’ll try to consider both approaches and find the best possible solution ![]()
Great!! I hope it get them
