Trying to position the announcement bar to the top of my web page. How do i do it?
Hi there @Sean_Oshiro
I see that you’ve already sent the installation request, and our Support Team will gladly assist you with it. They’ll contact you as soon as possible
Just in case, here is an article explaining how to install your widget on Wix website - Installing Elfsight widget on Wix avoiding iFrame - Elfsight Help Center
If you choose a Static Top layout option, the widget will remain at the top of your page when scrolling down
ok. Now I just need to figure out how to exactly position the announcement at the top without the bar scrolling with the rest of the page even after I choose static.
This layout works exactly this way, and you don’t need to do anything additionally (just choose this layout and add the widget’s installation code to the page).
Anyway, I see that my colleague Svetlana has contacted you regarding your installation request. So, she’ll gladly assist you with it
Interesting. When I do as what you just described, it doesn’t do it as designed. Yes, I requested to help with install but I don’t want to depend on someone to install my widget.
I know I’m doing something wrong on my end, but can’t seem to figure out what, especially if you say that all I need to do is embed the code into HTML section of WIX.
As Svetlana mentioned in a support ticket, It’s really hard to say what exactly went wrong without access to the website.
Please install your widget to the test page and provide Svetlana with the access. Our devs will be happy to look into this for you
I am really sorry, but it’s hard to find the reason for this without access and seeing the page with the widget.
If you provide Svetlana with these details, our devs will gladly investigate it for you.
