Calculator widget - scrolling in Wix when it should be static

I have embedded a calculator widget on a wix site. However, the form itself scrolls up and down when it doesn’t need to. I have looked at the troubleshooting answers and it told me to add a bit of code but that just got me the ‘forbidden’ error on the widget.

I have tried just resizing the frame etc.

I am NOT a coder, I am a designer and I have never used elfsight before.

Any thoughts??

Hi @user25655, happy to welcome you to our community forum! :dizzy:

I see, it seems the culprit is the iframe that Wix is built on. To fix the issue with the scroll, you need to reinstall the widget avoiding iframe, we have an article that explains how to that: Installing Elfsight widget on Wix avoiding iFrame via Custom Code - Elfsight Help Center

However, if you need help with this, our Support Team will be just happy to help. I see that you’ve already opened a support ticket, so feel free to use it to request help with the installation if needed

Hi Helga,

Thank you so much. I am trying to follow the instructions but I have about 2% coding experience so I am finding I am getting lost with the installation process.

I got as far as step #3 - creating a custom code and now everything is gibberish to me.

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to proceed?

Thanks,

Hello again Helga,

I am wanting to have this calculator widget be submitted to the clients email instead of mine which is connected to the Elfsight app. I’ve looked up how to do this but I cannot find any setting/notifications/email place to edit this on the elfsight builder.

Any help is appreciate

Thank you,

Hi there, @user25655 :waving_hand:

Please let me step in for Helga.

Please request the installation in your dashboard and our Support Team will gladly assist you with it. Do not forget to mention that you need the widget to be reinstalled, avoiding iframe.

To send the calculation results to your clients, you should enable the Autoresponder feature in the Notify Respondents section:

Please try it out and let me know if it worked for you :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Max,

Thank you for this information - I was able to change the email notification on the calculator widget.

I have requested an installation on the website - I did so last week on Friday. Do you have an estimate of how long it will take to make that happen?

Thank you!!

Got it, thanks!

Usually, it takes 1-2 days to respond. However, since we had holidays last week and our team was working reduced hours, it might take a bit longer. However, worry not, we’ve received your request and our Support Team will contact you as soon as possible :slightly_smiling_face:

You guys have been great, thank you!
