When entering new members it would be great to have them automatically sort alphabetically rather than having to manually slide each entry down to where it should be in the order
Greetings @Shawn_Dewees ![]()
I really like your idea, thanks a lot for sharing! I see that it would be very helpful. We’ll try to take your suggestion under consideration.
I’ll be posting here in case of any news ![]()
Instead of automatically sorting alphabetically, would be great if we can select to sort alpha asc or des or custom. But only AFTER we are done editing that card. Sometimes I duplicate the first card, make changes, and then move them down. If they were sorting alphabetically immediately after I’ve created them, that would annoying if the list is very long. (We’re using it to display guests at an event.)

I agree that it would be great to have both sorting options (A-Z, Z-A) and we’ll have this in mind too ![]()
Thanks a bunch for the feedback!

In a related question - I am loading 60+ team members into the “Team Showcase” widget. Is there a button or setting that will alphabetize them?
Thank you
Bill
Hi there, @IthacaSavageClub_ema ![]()
The alphabetical sorting isn’t available in our app, the only option is to manually set the needed order using the “drag and drop” option.
However, I agree that it would be great to have the alphabetical sorting in the settings too and I’ve created a separate request for this feature ![]()
Hello Max
I am woundering if over the past 6+ months your request to the develpoment team has gotten any attention? My goal/hope is to use this feature as a Club member directory. If Elfsight has a better wigit that can accomplidh this need, please point me to it. Thank you, Bill
Hi there, @IthacaSavageClub_ema ![]()
At the moment, we don’t have any news to share on this request, unfortunately.
Currently, we have a bunch of requests with the higher priority level (priority is based on the complexity and number of votes) and our devs are focused on them now.
As soon as we have any updates on this feature, we’ll immediately inform you here ![]()
Thank you for your quick response.
Looks like I need to talk a bunch of friends to write in and flood inflate the request. ![]()

I completely understand the enthusiasm to gather more votes. However, I’d like to mention that we can only consider votes from real users who are genuinely interested in the feature. Fake votes can confuse the process and won’t contribute to our decision-making.
We truly value your input and encourage you to continue sharing this idea with others who might find it helpful ![]()
