Google Reviews : not displaying/blank white

Hello,

I’ve had the google review widget on my premium Wix site since November 2022 and it’s been working fine. I check my site regularly and haven’t seen an issue in the last few weeks or so. Today, I went to update some things on my website and noticed that the google reviews are gone – it only displays a blank white space where the reviews used to be. I have updated the embed code and added it to my site again but I’m still having the same issue.

Any advice?

Reviews are meant to be under the Kind Words section of my website. Image to show what I see after updating the embed code.

Could you please confirm if this is still an issue on your side?

If it is, please follow these steps:

  1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
  2. Check your website in Incognito mode and another browser
  3. Check your website on another device

If the issue still persists, please send me a screenshot or a video screencast of the issue, it would be tremendously helpful!

In case anyone else has this issue – I’ve realised it’s because of an ad blocker I have installed on google chrome on my phone and laptop. Try turning it off and see if that helps.
