Google Reviews Carousel Disappearing

  • Issue description:

I’m trying to use the Google Reviews Carousel on a client site (just testing it with a random business’s reviews) and whenever I manually shrink the page, the app disappears and doesn’t reappear. This issue doesn’t appear to be happening with any other layout for that same widget, just the carousel.

Hi there, @Haley_Fischer

I’ve checked your website and there is no issue on my end:

Could you please confirm if this is still an issue on your side?

If it is, please follow these steps:

  1. Clear your browser’s cache and cookies
  2. Check your website in Incognito mode and another browser
  3. Check your website on another device

If the issue still persists, please send me a screenshot or a video screencast of the issue, it would be tremendously helpful

Hi, @Max - I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

The widget does work when you initially load the website. But when I resize the browser it disappears and does not come back. I tested those steps you included to no avail.

Here’s a Loom video I recorded showing what happens on my end in two different browsers.

Is there anything I can do to resolve the issue? Thanks!

Ah, sorry for misunderstanding!

I’ve forwarded this issue to the devs. I’ll report back once I have their response :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Haley_Fischer

While our devs are investigating the issue, you can temporarily fix the issue by disabling Align Cards by Height settings:

Hi there, @Haley_Fischer

The issue is finally resolved, so you can enable Align Cards by Height setting if needed

Thanks, @Max  Really appreciate it!

You are always welcome!

In the meantime, we’d be so grateful if you could look through the Google Reviews category on the Wishlist and upvote the features you’d like to see in the widget.

And feel free to share your own suggestions - we’ll gladly discuss them with you
