Can Agentic AI Improve Customer Support on Business Websites?

I’m exploring ways to improve customer support on a business website using AI chatbots. For those who have integrated chat or support widgets into their websites, what approaches have worked best for handling common customer questions, providing instant responses, and improving user engagement?

Are there any specific widget features or integrations you would recommend for creating a smoother AI-powered customer support experience?

I’m exploring how agentic AI could improve customer support on business websites. Instead of only answering predefined questions, an AI agent could understand a customer’s request, decide what steps are needed, and take appropriate actions.

For businesses using website widgets for customer engagement, what would be the most useful ways to combine agentic AI with chat or support widgets? Could this approach help automate tasks such as answering FAQs, collecting customer information, or guiding users to the right service?

Hi @Jade_Merlin, great question

And thanks a lot to @user23472 for the reply – it’s awesome that our Chatbot is making your life easier!

As for me, I think our AI Chatbot can add so much convenience to your website by going beyond simple FAQs! You can train the Chatbot on your own website content and use it to answer free-form customer questions, collect leads, transfer the conversation to a real person when needed and guide visitors to the right information or service, all thanks to the Skills it has in store :robot:

For example, customers often ask questions in unexpected ways or combine several questions together, and a good AI Assistant can understand the intent and still help them find the right information.

It also removes some of the hesitation people have about contacting a business directly. Some visitors prefer asking a chatbot first rather than talking to a person, so they can quickly get the information they need.

The goal isn’t necessarily to replace human support, but to let AI handle repetitive requests while helping customers get answers faster :technologist:

So this was my take on this – I hope it brings a new perspective
